When you have invested so much of your inner energy, dreams and illusions; letting go can be such a hardous task.  Sometimes it requires so many painful moments to make us understand that our happiness is not there and only self-destruction can be at the end if we continue trying to hold on people who never loved us or care about us.  Sometimes the guy you were infatuaded with, cannot even be your friend…and not matter how much you tried…your heart just gets continuously hurt.
